The Youth Ministries are comprised of the Halftime/Chosen Generation Ministry and Children’s Church Ministry.
Halftime Mission:
The mission of Halftime is to encourage young people (ages 12-18) to serve God with all of their heart, soul and strength; become positive and influential members of their community through increased civic participation, leadership, life-skills, and a sense of competency.
Church Mission:
The Children’s Ministry of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church exists to develop children (ages 3-12) in their cognitive and social development as well as the following areas: Learning and Discipleship, Evangelism and Missions.
Learning and Discipleship: To understand God and know that God has a special place in their lives and want all His children to know they are loved.
Evangelism: To understand that they must have a personal relationship with God.
Missions: To understand that they have a responsibility to others (i.e. classmates, family, society).
