Music Ministry
Overview:
The Music Ministry is made up of an array of choirs, praise dancers, and praise teams. The role of the music ministry is not primarily musical; it is foremost spiritual. This requires consistent Bible Study, praying and fasting for members of the ministry. It means seeking the Lord and His guidance for life, family, and ministry decisions. The music ministry prepares hearts, minds, and souls to receive the preached Word of God.
Choirs:
- Mass Choir is comprised of members from all individual choirs of Mt. Pleasant.
- The Men of Victory consists of young adult and mature men ministering with contemporary and transitional music.
- The Children’s Choir includes the children of Mt. Pleasant and offers children their first experience with ministering through song.
- Victorious Generation is comprised of young and mature adults who deliver contemporary and modern music of today.
- The Worship Team delivers music to the glory of God through all genres of music of gospel music.
- Shekinah Praise Dance Team ministers through dance.
Whether it is in the choir stands or the pews, all music in the church must be biblically edifying, spiritually unifying, personally purifying and above all, God glorifying.
