2011 Men's Advance - The Quest For Authentic Manhood

Mt. Pleasant’s men are planning our 2011 Men’s Advance at the Sandy Cove Ministries in Northeast, Maryland. The dates are September 9th - 11th , with our theme being “The Quest for Authentic Man-hood.” Our goal is to have all of the men of Mount Pleasant signed up to go to receive God’s blessings. Our goal comes from Ephesians 4:23-24 “and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on a new man which was created according to God.”

Friends and Family Weekend

August 27th and 28th is our Family and Friends Weekend. We provided hospitality to well over 1200 people last year for that weekend and The Lord gave us mega favor. We pray that the Lord will favor us with even more this year. All those interested in working on this year’s Family and Friends celebration, please let Rev. Gloria Voltz know by putting your name, cell or home phone number(s) and email address in her mailbox or dropping it by her office.

Kings Kids Goes on Hiatus

The Kings Kids Finale on June 4th was a huge success at Widener University. The youngsters are taking a break and will resume practices in September. If you’d like to participate, contact Sis. Alfreda Pryor. Kings Kids is open for 5 to 18 year olds who want to step, mime or dance for the Lord.

CDC Summer Youth Program

The Mount Pleasant CDC Summer Youth Program is underway. The Chester location is now ready to accept applicants. If you have any youths who are interested, please contact the CDC at (610) 497-4617.
